Canopy Center encourages all staff, volunteers, and clients to take reasonable precautions to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We encourage but do not require all parties involved in direct, in-person services to stay up to date on vaccinations and to wear masks and get tested when a potential exposure has occurred.
Parent to Child
Parent to Child is providing supervised visits in-person at Canopy Center. The Parent to Child Program Director, in conjunction with the Canopy Center Executive Director will keep informed on the COVID-19 local situation and may make the determination to pause face to face supervised visits.
CASA of Dane and Columbia Counties
In person visits for the CASA program should adhere to CDC guidelines. Vaccination is encouraged for those able to be vaccinated, as the program serves a vulnerable population. Before a CASA visit, staff and volunteers will self-monitor and take precautions if experiencing any illness. The same is requested of the family being visited. Masks are encouraged per CDC guidelines when exposure has occurred or to use as a general precaution when preferred.
Oasis
All client sessions are held in person. Clients may elect to schedule their sessions through telehealth when clinically necessary or due to COVID-19 related concerns. Clients are encouraged to cancel appointments if anyone planning to attend the appointment is sick. More details about COVID precautions being taken in our office and therapy rooms are available upon request.
