Oasis Mental Health Clinic

Welcome to Oasis, a certified mental health clinic at Canopy Center, where we specialize in providing compassionate and effective treatment for children and youth who have experienced sexual abuse, as well as their non-offending caregivers and family members. 

We understand the challenges you face, and our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way. 

At Oasis, our licensed therapists are trained to heal the trauma of sexual abuse, promote safety and prevent future harm. We hold specialities in: 

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy 
  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
  • Play Therapy 
  • Sand Tray Therapy 
  • Child-Parent Psychotherapy 

Our goal is to provide a personalized therapeutic experience. We strive to create a space where children and youth feel secure and empowered to process their experiences. Our services are client-centered and strengths-based, ensuring that each therapeutic journey is tailored to the unique needs of the individual and their family.

Other Services

Adult Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse (Group Therapy) | Summer (FULL); August/September (accepting clients)

An eight week closed therapy group that provides a confidential and safe environment to promote healing from the trauma of childhood sexual abuse. Groups are skill-based with an additional support component to help understand and process the effects of this childhood trauma. Topics addressed include: psychoeducation; coping skills; emotional regulation; healthy relationships; communication and boundaries; intimacy and trust; self-esteem; and empowerment. Members are required to have their own individual therapist. Groups are provided at no cost. 

Caregivers of Children Who Have Experienced Sexual Abuse (Group Therapy) | Will be offered with interest

An eight week closed therapy group that provides a confidential and safe environment to support caregivers of children who have experienced sexual abuse. This group balances support and connection amongst caregivers with shared struggles and psychoeducation about the impact of trauma on both the child and their families. Topics include: symptoms of trauma; feelings after disclosure of sexual abuse; emotional regulation and coregulation; attachment and bonding after trauma; family dynamics and healthy boundaries; trauma informed parenting of difficult behaviors; and fostering self-love for caregivers and children after sexual abuse. 

Teen Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse (Group Therapy) | Will be offered with interest 

An eight week closed art-based therapy group that provides a confidential and safe environment to promote healing from the trauma of childhood sexual abuse. Guided by an Oasis therapist, this supportive group encourages exploration of emotions through art and creative expression. Groups provide an additional support component to help understand and process the effects of childhood trauma.
