COVID-19 Program Updates (as of 2/17/2022)

Parent to Child

Parent to Child is providing supervised visits in-person at Canopy Center. All involved in the visit must complete a self-assessment of their health and any possible exposure prior to the visit. Visits will take place outside whenever possible. Masks will be worn at all times during the visit by anyone over 2 years of age.  Extra cleaning and disinfecting will continue for all supplies and spaces used.

Dane County CASA

Dane County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) staff are currently working remotely. CASA volunteers will attend in-person visits with families if the situation is deemed safe to do so. CASA volunteers will confirm that the family is comfortable with an in-person CASA visit, and all involved in the visit must complete a self-assessment of their health and any possible exposure. Outdoor visits are recommended with indoor visits allowed in certain circumstances and always with family consent. Masks must be worn at all times during visits, and double masking is recommended if anyone is unvaccinated or if vaccination status is unknown.

Oasis

Oasis is providing limited in-person services on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to reduce the number of people entering the building. Mental health referrals will be provided through teleheath initially; at that time, the family and therapist will discuss if in-person appointments are clinically necessary. For in-person appointments, parents/caregivers may wait in our facility during their child's appointment if they feel comfortable doing so. Childcare services will again be available by request. All people entering the Canopy Center space must complete a self-assessment of their health and any possible exposure. Masks will be worn at all times by anyone over 2 years of age. Extra cleaning and disinfecting will continue for all supplies and spaces used.
