Gingerbread Casas for CASA
Held in December each year, Dane County CASA hosts an annual Gingerbread Casas for CASA event at the Madison Children's Museum in Madison, WI. Madison-area companies and individuals are invited to participate in a gingerbread house or “casa” decorating competition. Visit our Facebook page for more pictures of the houses!
The decorating will take place in stations on the Museum's 2nd floor. Children and families visiting the Museum will be encouraged to vote for their favorite house and decorate their own gingerbread cookies! Local celebrities will judge the entries and awards will be presented.

Sponsor the Event
A sponsorship is a wonderful opportunity for your business or organization to support Canopy Center's important work while also receiving meaningful recognition among the many Madison - area professionals in attendance. Sponsors will also receive special benefits that night.
For over a decade, Dane County judges have assigned volunteers associated with the Dane County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children. To support their advocacy work, CASA volunteers maintain close contact with the children they serve, make weekly home visits and correspond with any person involved in the lives of their assigned children — including family members, teachers, counselors, social workers, coaches, and friends — to make sure the children are safe.
In a very real way, CASA volunteers provide an additional set of eyes and ears for the courts and help them make decisions regarding what is best for abused and neglected children. The CASA volunteer's sole objective is to make sure that all CASA kids have the opportunity that all children deserve — the opportunity to grow up in a safe, permanent home.
